The 10 hand painted ceramic plates you see here are based on many years of expert Armenian ceramic tradition, which includes hand painting, drawing, mixing colors, glazing and firing.

We present you with traditional designs which have become part of Jerusalem's Armenian ceramic heritage, which started in 1919 when my grandfather arrived in Jerusalem to renovate the ceramic tiles of the Dome of the Rock.

My grandfather came from Kutahia, Turkey, where he learned his craft. Our designs have the following influences: Ottoman, Iranian, Armenian, and original designs by myself.
